  1. Bath Salt With fragrance

  2. Salt of the earth Mathew 5:13 - “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.”

  3. Using bath salts…… For a bath, fill the tub about halfway to the desired level. Take a spoonful of bath salts and pour them into the bath by holding your hand under the faucet, allowing the bath salts to fall with the water into the tub. Depending on their size, bath salts will dissolve quickly once in contact with hot water. Be sure to stir the bath salts into the water and circulate them well, so the larger salts dissolve and the fragrances are released into the steam. From: www.bathsalt.net

  4. Why salt? The minerals inside a bath salt promote healthy, more youthful skin. When you use bath salt, you’ll find your skin will feel smoother and softer after your bath. Bath salt also helps purge impurities from your skin, resulting in a clean, radiant glow. Bathing with bath salt is a wonderful way to relax, and the benefits reach far beyond the skin’s surface: bath salt is believed to lower blood pressure, treat conditions such as arthritis and muscle soreness, and has powerful detoxifying properties. www.bathsalt.net/

  5. Properties of Salt • Essential to health; body cells must have salt in order to live and work. • It has antiseptic or germ killing properties. • It is a preservative. • It gives distinctive flavor. Carlos E. Asay, "Salt of the Earth: Savor of Men and Saviors of Men", Ensign, May 1980, 42

  6. Culture of salt According to the historians, “Salt at one time had religious significance, and was a symbol of purity. … Among many peoples, salt is still used as a sign of honor, friendship and hospitality. The Arabs say ‘there is salt between us,’ meaning ‘we have eaten together, and are friends’” (The World Book Encyclopedia, 1978, 17:69).
