The result recorded in the book of Acts • Acts 2:41: "There were added that day about three thousand souls." • Acts 4:4: "The number of the men came to be about five thousand. • Acts 5:14: "All the more believers in the Lord, multitudes of men and women, were constantly added to their number." • Acts 6:1: "At this time . . . the disciples were increasing in number."

The result recorded in the book of Acts • Acts 6:7: "The word of God kept on spreading; and the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly." • Acts 9:31: "The church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed peace . . . Our Duty to Support Evangelism Through Pray (4.2-4) Is this a Mystery? • That the Son of God should become man. • That he should live a life of poverty and love. • That he should die in the place of sinners and bear the curse of the law though he was sinless. • That he should rise from the dead and reign in heaven today. • That the ungodly should be justified by faith. • That Jew and Gentile, all nations should be reconciled in one body to God. • And that Christ should dwell in our hearts and seal us for glory.
