Fall 2008 Admission • More than 61,000 applications were received for approximately 7,000 freshmen and transfer spaces. • 31% of the freshmen applicants were admitted. • 69.6% of admitted freshmen were from outside the service area. • Admitted freshmen profile: • Average Eligibility Index: 4,182 (SAT), 1009 (ACT) • GPA: 3.77 • SAT Reasoning Score: 1,165 • ACT: 25 Data as of 08/04/08

Fall 2009 Admission Process • Application filing period: October 1 - November 30 • All required coursework must be completed by end of the spring 2009 term. • Freshman admission decisions are provisional and made using self-reported information. • Admission status will be verified using final official transcripts. The offer of admission may be rescinded for students with incorrect information, or if they fail to maintain their GPA/eligibility index score throughout senior year. San Diego State University

Fall 2009 Admission Process (continued) • All freshmen applicants must submit official SAT Reasoning or ACT test scores. • SAT Reasoning or ACT should be taken no later than November of a student’s senior year. • Enrollment Deadlines: • January 15, 2009: Incomplete application • May 1, 2009: Intent to Enroll, $250 deposit, official transcripts with 7th semester grades, and test scores • July 15, 2009: Official transcripts with graduation date and spring 2009 grades San Diego State University

On-Campus Housing • 8 residence halls with approximately 4,000 beds • Virtual tours and room floor plans at www.sdsu.edu/housing • Housing Procedures: • Applicants should indicate housing interest in the WebPortal as soon as they have a RedID number. • License agreements will be made available online by early spring to all admitted students who have indicated interest in on-campus housing. • On-campus housing is decided on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the date the license agreement is received in the Office of Housing Administration.
