  4. Authorization • After installation, software authorized via Software Authorization Wizard (SAW) • Requires distribution of Authorization numbers -- received just last Friday • Install info sent via SAW and returns an Authorization file, completing the install process

  5. Provisioning • A method for managing a variety of licenses from a number of user organizations • Authorizations for a single user group combined into a single file • Which can be uploaded directly in to SAW • The provision can help manage one agency’s licenses as a unit

  6. New Concepts • Encouraged to reduce or eliminate single use licenses • Borrow a license for predetermined period; managed through an Audit Log • License admininstrators can control user access via Options File • No more hardware keys or keycode requests
