  2. Purpose State-prescribed report serves as evidence that endorsement programs meet standards • PEAB Review • State PESB continuing program approval • NCATE continuing accreditation

  3. Report: Development Template designed on state requirements • Brief description: delivery/assessments • Data from Woodring Assessment & Evaluation • Narrative from endorsement and education departments

  4. Report: Data Assessment data is aggregated by report year for a minimum of two years • WEST-E test scores • program completers • Pedagogy Assessment pass rate • if internship is in the endorsement area

  5. Report: Data • One additional Key Assessment • IDES scores • if applicable • Content Methods Competency • methods course grade on numeric scale Where N is less than five, data are excluded unless there are five or more Ns across report years

  6. Report: Narrative • Section IIA: The process by which the department/unit reviews data • Section IIB: Conclusions reached as a result of the most recent review • Section IIC: Modifications in the program as the result of recent reviews

  7. PEAB Workgroups • Go to assigned group; select spokesperson • Read each report independently (15 min.) • If questions: Kimberly (data); Dana (report) • Workgroup discussion (15 min.): • Does the report provide assessment data on content knowledge and pedagogy? • Does the program use data to assess candidate progress and make program improvements? • Spokesperson: report findings to larger group
