  1. Family Traditions By: Pia Jung

  2. Does your family celebrate different kinds of holidays? My family celebrates almost every tradition. We decorate the tree, put cookies and milk for Santa, and open presents from Santa. Let me tell you more about celebrating Christmas.

  3. We first start with the tree and design it. My family designs the tree by trimming it until it is in excellent shape. We put dazzling lights on the Christmas tree. Finally, we put a shiny, yellow, and cardboard star on the top of the Christmas tree. Our tree is beautiful complete.

  4. Then, we make sure the table is clean by cleaning it with a wet not dirty cloth, and we scrub and wipe it until it is crystal clear. Then we will put milk and cookies out for Santa by decorating the cookies by putting tiny pieces of candy cane, fruit, and dark chocolate. Then we put plain milk on the table.

  5. Our last tradition we do is open presents. My brother and I have terrific presents that Santa gave us. I usually get diaries but sometimes on the sofa Santa gives me toys. My brother is now fourteen so he gets books. The presents have red as an apples skins ribbons. The ribbons are sometimes green. The green ribbons look like sour Granny Smith apples. Finally, the last thing for presents are present wrappings. The present wrappings are funny and dazzling.

  6. You can tell that I have different customs like I decorate the tree, putting Christmas cookies, and opening presents from Santa. Would you like to join my holiday tradition?
