It has been observed that there is an acute shortage of skilled manpower in different branches of engineering and that has been a deterrent in achieving operational efficiency in industries and also in introduction of the latest technologies in the industrial sector. At Sanskriti, the students are offered polytechnic course in architecture, civil, electrical, electronics and mechanical branches (automobile & production) of engineering. Besides, a diploma course in fashion designing and garment technology is also been offered.

Polytechnic courses at Sanskritiare centres of attraction among students seeking professional education in the areas of Pre-engineering sciences & technology. Sanskriti Institute of Polytechnic (SIP) & Sansktiti School of Polytechnic (SSP) offer admission in Diploma programs on full-time basis. Students from different cities come to Mathura for pursuing the course in different branches of engineering, viz; Civil, Computer Science, Mechanical (Automobile & Production), Electronics, Electrical, Architecture and Fashion Design & Garment Technology. The focus is on grooming aspiring young men and women for rewarding careers.

  4. The polytechnic course is of three years duration and the course in all branches offered by SIP & SSP is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Board of Technical Education, U.P. The curriculum of the course is so designed that the students are provided necessary theoretical inputs with more emphasis on practical work so that they can develop skills of operation, maintenance etc. of different equipments and understand the nuances of automation/computerization for enhancing accuracy in the jobs done, abolition of defects/minimization of defects etc. Experienced and competent faculty members of corresponding branches of engineering are assigned the task of teaching the students. They are also sent to various organizations for having hands-on experience of operating machines which provides them confidence and also allows them to correlate theoretical inputs with practical observations.

  5. For skill development, two things are important (a) proper laboratories with necessary modern equipments & (b) competent instructors. Well-equipped laboratories have been installed at SIP & SSP and instructors with proper qualification and extensive experience have been employed to ensure that the practical demonstrations are well understood by the students. As the adage goes “Seeing is believing”, the students pursuing polytechnic course at Sanskritiare regularly sent to industries for exposure and also for on-the-job training.
