Her Discovery! • She discovered radio therapy. • She discovered it by looking at different elements that gave off particles and radioactivity. • She is world famous and her discovery is used frequently in hospitals all around the world to help cancer. • She also discovered polonium. • She found out that the harmful rays from x-rays could kill tumors. • By the end of World War I she was probably the most famous person in the world.
