Background: Executive Order 129 • Issued by Governor Jim Doyle, Nov 2005 • Created eHealth Care Quality and Patient Safety Board • Directed Board to: • Develop and implement a 5-year Action Plan • Annually assess HIT adoption rate by Wisconsin heath care providers • Annually report on Board’s plans, activities, accomplishments, and recommendations Protecting and promoting the health and safety of the people of Wisconsin
