First Marking Period Report Card • Report Cards were distributed to all students in grades 1 – 8 on Friday, November 15th. • Parents should review the report with students. • Schedule an appointment to meet with the teacher if the report card indicates your child is having difficulty.
What do these grades mean? • A student must attain a grade of 70 or above to pass the class. • During the first three marking periods no grade lower than a 60 will be issued to any student. • The fourth marking period grade will be the actual grade the student earned.
What can parents do to help? • Make sure homework is completed every night. • Make sure your child gets enough sleep. • Bring your child to school on time each day.
