How to Use Public Transportation Schedules can be found inside the busses or at main transfer locations such as Kent State University main bus shelter All schedules are listed on www.partaonline.org It is highly recommended that you arrive at the bus stop prior to the scheduled depart time Keep in mind busses may be delayed due to traffic and road conditions give yourself enough time! How to Use Public Transportation Before boarding the bus Wait at the bus stop Read the destinations sign to ensure you are entering the correct bus Have your Kent State ID or exact bus fare ready when boarding (bus drivers do not carry change) While on the bus Stay seated Pull the chime (cord located on each side of the bus running from the front to back) to active the stop request sign. Busses will only load and unload at designated locations marked with a bus stop sign. Exiting the bus Use the back door if possible Do not cross in front of the bus

On Campus Routes Campus Loop Service Begins at 6:13 am at C-Midway and ends at 10:56 pm at the Student Center Busses run approximately every 6-12 minutes Stops Serviced Student center Bowman Hall Satterfield Hall McGilvery Hall Auditorium Multon Hall C-Midway Music and Speech Building Centennial Dormitories Tri-towers East-way Health Center Ice arena Math and Science

    9. On Campus Routes Night Shuttle and Down Towner Night Shuttle Is on call transportation provided to and from locations on the Kent State Campus. Call 330-672-7433 to request a ride. Runs Monday- Thursday 11:00 pm 2:00 am Service from Dixs Stadium to campus is also available between 2:00am and 3:00 am Down Towner Thursday and Friday Route only, does not run finals week. Begins at 10:20 pm from music and speech and ends at 2:05 am at Summit East. Stops serviced Water and Erie St. (downtown Kent) Music and Speech Eastway Summit East Lot Student Center

Off Campus Routes Akron 90 and Cleveland Express Akron Express Fare is $1 each way for students and public Stops Serviced C-Midway Student Center Walmart/ Brimfield City Hospital on Market University of Akron METRO Intermodal Transit Center In service Monday trough Friday Cleveland Express Fare is $5 each way for students and public Fare to Streetsboro is $1 Stops Serviced Student center C-Midway Streetsboro Twinsburg Southgate transit center Tower city Cleveland State University In service Monday trough Friday twice a day: 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM Sunday Cleveland Express Departs at 4:00 PM

    12. Off Campus Routes Black Squirrel 60 Service Begins at 9:00 am at C-Midway and ends at 6:14 pm with Pebblebrook as the last stop. Stops are serviced approximately every 30 minutes Stops serviced C-Midway Campus Pointe KSU Golf Course Pebblebrook Apartments Wallmart

    13. Off Campus Routes Interurban to Stow 31/32 Service Begins at 6:05 am at Target in Stow and ends at 10:22 pm at Target. Stops are serviced approximately every 30 minutes Runs Monday trough Friday and Saturday on a limited schedule. Stops serviced C-Midway Main and Water Sliver Meadows Target

    14. Off Campus Routes Interurban to Ravenna 33/34 Service Begins at 6:08 am Downtown Ravenna and ends at 10:22 pm at Robinson Memorial Hospital. Stops are serviced approximately every 30 minutes Runs Monday trough Friday and Saturday on a limited schedule. Stops serviced C-Midway Walmart Downtown Ravenna Robinson Memorial Hospital

    15. Off Campus Routes Suburban Service Begins at 6:30 am at C-Midway and ends at 10:00 am at C-Midway . Stops are serviced approximately every 30 to 60 minutes Runs Monday trough Friday and Saturday on a limited schedule. Stops serviced C-Midway Park plaza Roosevelt High School Erie and Water Plaza SR 43 and 261 Indian Valley

    16. Student Accessibility Transportation Services (SATS) SATS is a student operated service, and a component of PARTA/Campus Bus Service. Our primary concern is transporting students with disabilities safely and on time. SATS drivers will make sure passengers get between the dorms and classrooms. Weekday and Saturday service during the Fall and Spring semesters is provided to meet our passenger's academic needs. All riders (temporary and permanent) of SATS must be approved to ride through the Kent State University Student Accessibility Services (SAS) office. Their number is 330-672-3391.
