Learning Experiences Talk Pages Citations • A similar issue and resolution arose with regard to citations, I was having trouble figuring out the format for a generic citation. • Another wikipedia user informed me that there was simply a “cite” button on any given editing page, and once I found it, it was very easy to use. • I struggled to get to grips with talk pages, and the methods of communication between two Wikipedia users via talk pages and “talkback”. • After joining Teahouse, another wikipedia user helped me to understand wikipedia’s messaging system.
Learning Experiences Addressing the subject Other subjects • In order to get a basic idea for our style of formatting, we looked into other subjects in the Science and Academia category. • This led to the Wikipedia “Manual of Style/Biographies” which was helpful and went into further detail with regard to addressing the subject that other Wikipedia members had left out. • Several Wikipedia users helped our group with addressing the subject, something that remained inconsistent throughout the creation of our article. • Following this, we homogenized the article and ensured all references to the subject were consistent.
