  1. What Is The Difference Between A Modular Kitchen And Normal Kitchen? A kitchen is a space or a room or part of the house/flat, office premises, restaurant, or schools which is used for cooking and food preparation in a dwelling or a commercial establishment. The significant function of the kitchen is to store, prepare and cook food (includes cutting vegetables, grinding masalas, etc.) and completing a related task such as dishwashing. However, with time, as people are getting used to staying in apartments where access to space is limited, they are opting modular kitchens to increase the functionality of the kitchen. The modular kitchen has become famous for its efficient usage of space, design and for creating a stylish look.​​Moreover, with the increasing familiarity,​ modular kitchens in Kolkata​ are quite common. Some differences between a normal kitchen and a modular kitchen Differences between the two styles of kitchen are provided below to help the ones in confusion. Normal Kitchen Space which is used for cooking and serving the works need to be done before and after cooking can be termed as a normal kitchen. From classical times, the normal kitchen is used. In the middle ages and even with the advancement of technology, the regular kitchen is widely used in India. A normal kitchen is a separate room fully equipped with all the standardised appliances for cooking like a micro oven, stove, refrigerator, gas burner, water purifier and a sink with running tap water.
