Repaso - AHORA • An –ar verb is a verb that ends in “ar” in the infinitive. (Infinitive is the “to form of the verb, i.e. “to jump”, “to eat”, “to sing”.) • Steps for conjugating –ar verbs: • Step 1: cut off the –ar ending • Step 2: add on new ending based on the subject
Repaso:Conjugating regular –AR verbs • Step 1: Cut off the –AR ending from the infinitive • Ejemplos: Hablar Cantar Bailar *Habl-, Cant-, and Bail- are the stems of each verb*
Step 2: Add the new ending onto the stem based on the subject (who is doing the action)
