Ben Monaco • I'm glad to be back home teaching 7th grade social studies here at Clinton Middle School! I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 2004. I received an Associates in Arts degree from Maple Woods Community College in 2006 and a Bachelors in Science Degree from William Jewell College in 2009. For the past three years I've been a teacher and coach at St. Pius X High School in Kansas City, Missouri teaching World History, American History, and Psychology. As a coach at St. Pius X I worked with the football, basketball, and track teams, as well as coordinating a conditioning program in the off-season for athletes at the school.
7th Grade Social Studies • I'm very excited for the school year and I'm also excited to make the move to teach 7th graders. I will be teaching American History, Geography, and Government this year, as well as coaching football and basketball at the high school. I will have a busy schedule but I'm ready for it and enthusiastic about being able to help our students. A goal of mine is to make this year a very positive and valuable one for the students here in Clinton and to have fun doing it.
