  2. It is all about data and its display • Georeferenced data is available free in the web. This includes human-made features (central pivots, roads, hospitals), land cover (satellite images), databases (demographics, energy, etc.) • And the GIS software? There are many freeware GIS software also available in the web. • Web services to display georeferenced data (i.e., Google Earth).

  3. Let’s make a Map with the Location of Hospitals in Nebraska Dataset includes 65 features (i.e., schools, churches, hospitals, post offices).
