  6. Folklore Folklore includes stories, myths, and fables that people told one another over the years. Later the stories were written down.

Folk Tale- story passed down from generations within a certain culture • Tall Tale- story passed down from generations that are extremely exaggerated. • Myths- story passed down that include gods and goddesses. • Legends- story passed down about real people or events but fake things added. • Fables- story that gives a moral or lesson
