Fabric Finishes • Waterproofing – Silicon based chemicals sprayed onto shoe to create a protective barrier to the water • Stain resistance – A silicone based finish that stops the fabric absorbing stains or dirt. • Anti bacterial finish – chemical applied inside the shoe to stop smells, Purista. • Brushing – mechanical finish, brushes fabric with wire rollers to leave it soft and fluffy – fur fabric, velour inside slipper
