  4. Human & Physical Features Compared to the US, Liberia's in rough condition. Furthermore, its not not the most wealthy country in the world. For instance, Liberia’s economy is pretty bad. The poor country can only pay for 3 doctors for every 1000 people. Also, the life expectancy is about 45 years of age. Coupled with that is the fact that not everyone lives from birth, in Liberia, more than 132 babies die from birth per every 1000 births. On top of that only 1 out of 100 people have cars to get the babies to the hospital even if they get there in time there are so few doctors they might not make it in time. On top of that only only 59 percent of their population can read and write out forms so there is a very small chance of survival in Liberia. All in all its pretty poor out there but they're getting better.

  5. Flag Liberia’s flag is full of history and is somewhat copied. Some characteristics of this flag is it has eleven red and white stripes running horizontally to represent the eleven people who signed their Declaration of Independence which was also copied from the U.S.A. Also, the red stripes represent courage whereas the white represents moral excellence. Oddly there is one white star at the top left hand corner surrounded by a blue box box (as shown above) just like America’s flag but with one star. This symbolizes how the slaves gained their freedom. On top of that, the last time their flag was updated was on July 26, 1847. Incidentally, many sailors and merchants sail under Liberia’s flag because Liberia offers registration for no other taxes from other countries. All in all Liberia’s flag has loads of history and facts.

  6. 634 × 423 - tonyblairoffice.org Government Did you know that Liberia’s government is a republic? Or that the suffrage is 18 years of age? I bet you didn't but the most craziest fact of Liberia’s government is that their independence day is in july, Just like the U.S.’s! Also, the capital is monrovia. All in all Liberia’s government is fascinating and yet simple.

  7. Religion in Liberia Liberia’s main religion Christianity but Islam is following behind with a close second. Aside from Islam, 85.6 percent of liberia’s population’s culture is christianity, so lets get some facts on that. The creator of Christianity is Jesus Christ 30 A.D. Israel. 2 billion people worldwide follow Christianity. Also, Christianity is monotheistic, meaning one god. Its religious text is the bible. Other than Christianity Islam is the second most popular religion in Liberia which inherits 12.2 percent of the population. Also, it is monotheistic too. This religion states that the one god is Allahand anyone who does not follow Islam should be punished, unfortunately this is causing quite some problems in the middle east. All in all Liberian religions are pretty similar with some differences here or there but we can agree both are not that rare.

  10. Animals of Liberia For the most part there are some strange animals in this world, but nothing compares to Liberia’s life forces. One strange animal is the xenomystus. It can swallow air! But thats not all, this fish can also bark like a dog! aside from exotic fish, lets get into the louder part of this (besides fro barking) Ill give you a hint: it goes ooh ooh aah aah. If you guessed the diana monkey your correct. the diana monkey lives at the top of the rainforest and will eat any creepy crawly you can think of, including scorpions!!! Other than Fast fish and straight up disgusting monkey, lets pick up the topic of a heavier animal, like the red river hog. As you can see in the top right hand corner of this slide it has wacky ears and a hairy face. Its lifespan is 10 to 12 years of age. The females can give birth from 1 to 4 piglets. All in all Liberia animals are pretty interesting and exotic so keep an eye (or an ear) out for for barking fish gross monkeys and weird looking red river hogs if stop by Liberia.
