  1. Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management • Activate the State Emergency Coordination Center (SECC). Includes appropriate liaisons, such as Red Cross, National Guard, Alaska State Troopers, and Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). • Warn potentially impacted communities and confirm local Emergency Operations Center activation. • Initiate a conference call with affected communities, National Weather Service (NWS), Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO), DEC, and others. AVO and NWS to provide additional information and field questions.

  2. Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management • Process resource requests from local EOCs by coordinating private, State, and Federal assets. • Dispatch DHS&EM liaison to activated local EOC as requested. • Produce a daily incident situation report with up to date information from NWS, AVO, and others.
