Unit 1 Prompts: 8/18-8/23 8/19: What are your expectations, goals, fears for this class? 8/20: What activities, teaching styles, rules, and policies have not been helpful to your learning or experience in any of your past high school classes? List and explain why they weren’t helpful. 8/23: How did you feel/think about the One to One discussion? What did you learn and what was the point of the activity?

  3. August 24 How could you be more present to the people in your life? Explain. What would change in your life if you were more present to people? How would the world change if all people did this? Explain. What is the purpose of religion? How does religion affect how people act? Explain.

  4. 8/30-9/3 8/30: Do most Christians make decisions because it is the most loving thing to do or because they fear punishment? Explain. 8/31: Which religion is true? Does Truth exist? Explain Does God exist? If so, how do you know? Explain. What is one statement that is true? How do you know this is a true statement? Explain.
