  1. Kinetic Theory

  2. TempKE

  3. Diffusion

  4. Dalton's Law of Partial Pressures -each gas in a mixture of gases exerts pressure independently of the other gases -the total pressure of a mixture of gases is equal to the sum of the pressures of all the gases in the mixture Ptot = P1 + P2 + P3 + ......... - depends on the number of moles of a gas, the size of the container, and the temperature of the mixture. - It does not depend on the identity of a gas, each gas behaves the same way

  5. Liquids

  6. Vaporization

  7. Surface Tension - a measurement of the inward pull by particles in the interior The stronger the attraction between particles, the greater the surface tension Viscosity - measure of the resistance of a liquid to flow ex. corn syrup has a higher viscosity than water because if flows much more slowly than water does

  8. Solids

  9. Phase Changes

  10. Dipole - separation of charge

  11. Test Review 9 Matching problems 19 Multiple Choice Problems 4 Picture Problems 3 Calculation Problems What to Study? Properties of Solid, Liquids, and Gases Relationships between temp, volume, pressure, etc Kinetic Theory 3 parts Vocab Phase Diagrams and changing between phases Heat Problems Rate of Diffusion Partial Pressures
