  7. AIACC GEF Project implemented in the Cook Islands and Fiji by USP. In the Cooks, it comes through the Environment Service. Project site: Aitutaki (Nikaupara-Amuri) Water Galleries

Assessment of Impacts and Adaptations to Climate Change AIACC • Research based project on Impacts & Responses • Team conducted a survey • Modelling of Coastal Inundation on Aitutaki with Storm Surge & Climate Change • Country Team assistance -data • Training of CI Nationals in how to use model for policy & adaptation planning

  9. CBDAMPIC CIDA funded and implemented in four PICs. In the Cooks, it comes through the Environment Service. Project site: Aitutaki (whole island) Water Galleries

  10. Process followed Formation of the Aitutaki Climate Change Community Team decision making body of the project; • Assist in the setting up of the project in Aitutaki; • Assist in any negotiation, policy decisions and general project monitoring
