  2. Fall: Anatomy: 5 Foundations: 4 Dental Materials: 2/3 GDA100: 2 Waxing: 2 Dental Morphology and Occlusion: 2 Winter: Systems 1: 5 Micro: 5 Pharm: 4 Direct: 3 Foundations of Radiology: 3 Critical Thinking EBD: 2 Fundamentals of Caries: 2

  3. Fall: Anatomy 1) Don’t fall behind, quizzes keep you on track 2) Study outside of lab time 3) Study in groups

  4. Fall: Foundations 1) A lot of different teachers lecture this class and that might be a new experience 2) A lot of basic science detail from pre-reqs from undergrad 3) Also don’t fall behind because this can pile up too

  5. Fall: GDA100 1) Lecture subjects are not continuous 2) Final is a bit difficult but everyone passes

  6. Fall: Waxing 1) Very fun! 2) Don’t stress about this class, even if you struggle in the beginning it gets easier

  7. Fall: Dental Materials 1) Midterm easier than final 2) Pure memorization 3) Prof tells you exactly what to study

  8. Fall: Dental Morphology and Occlusion 1) Very straightforward 2) Very relevant to dentistry! 3) Try and remember the things you learn in this class because they apply to lab

  9. Winter: Systems 1 1) Most difficult of all Systems 2) Don’t fall behind, high volume of information 3) Making tables helps 4) Very dense material

  10. Winter: Direct 1) Practice, practice, practice! 2) Don’t get discouraged, it takes time to get used to holding a handpiece but it will come to you with time

  11. Winter: Critical Thinking EBD 1) Don’t underestimate this class but don’t stress about it either 2) Some overlap with Caries 3) Poster presentation!

  12. Winter: Foundations of Radiology 1) Going to class really helps because Dr. Mallya explains what is on the radiographs 2) Need to understand the concepts in this class, not just memorize 3) Generally everyone enjoys this class 4) Midterms easy but final really hard with fill in the blanks

  13. Winter: Fundamentals of Caries 1) Do study guides!! 2) Don’t stress

  14. Winter: Micro 1) A LOT of memorization 2) Making stories really helps 3) Don’t fall behind

  15. Winter: Pharm 1) Very conceptual course 2) Going to class helps because Dr. Ganzberg explains the concepts really well 3) Tests are fair
