Operation Kindness: No-Kill Shelter Saving Animals in North Texas

Founded in 1976, Operation Kindness is the largest no-kill shelter in North Texas, having saved over 75,000 animals. They care for 275-300 animals daily, with another 100 in foster homes. More than 3,000 dogs and cats are assisted each year. Gavin, Andrew, & Roark sell lemonade and loom bracelets to raise funds for Operation Kindness. They donated $221 and are actively involved in caring for the animals. The organization's mission is to provide a no-kill environment for homeless cats and dogs until they find responsible homes while advocating humane values. The vision is a world where all animals have loving, forever homes.

They care for 275-300 animals on a day-to-day basis, with another 100 animals in foster homes. More than 3,000 dogs and cats are assisted by Operation Kindness each year.
