Recycled Art: Tom Deininger- found object works -Born Boston, Massachusetts 1970 -An artist receiving considerable attention as contemporary artist and environmentalist. -Widely known as the artist who turns (recycles) junk into fine art installations -Sends out a few assistants every week onto the streets to collect as much ‘trash’ as possible -Creates enormous portraits and landscapes

Street Art: Osgemeos of Sao Paulo- graffiti artists -Os Gêmeos (Portuguese for The Twins) are graffiti artist identical twin brothers (born 1974) from Sao Paulo, Brazil. -The twins started out as break dancers, and got involved with the graffiti later on. -Graffiti style was influenced by both traditional hip hop style and the Brazilian pixacao movement. -Lyrical, surrealist and playful -Subjects range from family portraits to commentary on São Paulo's social and political circumstances, as well as Brazilian folklore

Altered Book Art: Mike Stilkey- installation art, painting and drawing -Born Los Angeles, California, 1975 -Always been attracted to painting and drawing not only on vintage paper, record covers and book pages, but on the books themselves. -Using a mix of ink, colored pencil, paint and lacquer -Depicts melancholic and whimsical characters that create narratives of fantasy and fairy tales. -A mixture of poetry, wit, and mystery.
