  3. It’s Review Time, It’s Review Time • Students will be placed into their regular groups of three people and each come up with one compound word. In the group they will pick one compound word to write on the board. • The teacher will then review the definition of a contraction with the students, and have them give several examples.

  7. B-I-N-G-O!! In Class Activity • The teacher will pass a bingo card out to each of the students. • Each card will have multiple homophones on it that the students just reviewed • The teacher will call off a homophone and use it in a sentence • Example: “Miss Pirrone READ the book to the class” or “The apple is RED”
