A stream table is a small model of how a real stream flow might shape the land.
Once the water flows in the stream table we can analyze to see what happened, and why.
A stream table in a science laboratory is bigger than ours, but works in the same way.
Notice that this stream table is propped up on one end. What difference do you think that will make in the effects of the running water?
What about this stream table? Do you think the effects of running water will be different with all those twigs and stones in it?
