  2. February “C” Reporting Items • Updated version of Aggregations and EMSRDET due out soon • Better filter on Preschool students • Updated filter on students who graduated • Updates to error messages • Updates Regarding Ohio Credential ID validations

February “C” Reporting Items – con’t • Ohio Credential ID updates coming • Chapter 3 indicates “fatal” if spaces • Validations against “new” ALT ID file • USPS – CREDENTIDLD • EMIS - EMSLDALTID • Discontinue DOWNLOAD_ALTID.COM • New DOWNLOAD procedure coming for NM_ALTID.IDX file • Also downloads to include miscellaneous EMIS files – e.g. Options, Count Week, Subject, etc

February “C” Reporting Items – con’t • Local Staff ID updates • “Z” IDs contained in the EMSLID.IDX file • ODE wants this file to remain constant throughout FY and RPs • NewOECN$EMIS$COMMON – location of EMSLID file • logical introduced on next version or next release – whichever comes first OECN$EMIS$COMMON logical • NWOCA defined a system-wide logical and copied file out • $ define/system oecn$emis$common emis_root:[000000] • Be sure to update your system startup logicals procedure • Used a simple command procedure to copy all 07K EMSLID.IDX files to the EMIS_ROOT top level. – see couple of slides

March “D” Reporting Period • Issues with CTA Follow-up GV060 field being set with severity level of “I” • Invalid values included and not validated properly • Options file update on March 8th to Fatal • Should rerun any old March D validations • Reminder: Use EMSRDET and not aggregations for March “D” reporting

EMIS Web Application • Added 2 Quick Entry Program and Subject screens • Added CTA Correlated Classes • Added Local Class Cross Reference • Auto-populate drop-down for program codes on Student program • Added Course Master tab to the Staff screen • Added “Restrict IRN” ability • Need to update Setupenv file - OECN$SETUP.INI • LOGICAL=OECN$EMIS_RESTRICT_IRNS#username,”IRN” • LOGICAL=OECN$EMIS_RESTRICT_IRNS#REINEKE,"027300,139204"

  9. ODE FTP Site – EMIS Reports • Several Issues associated with new site • Some sites now doing this manually • Need to automate this process • SSDT is working on a procedure to automate the ftp’ing of the files down from ODE to your “HQ” directory.

  10. ODE Access to Tickets • ODE.EMIS • Full access to tickets assigned to ODE • Access to all ITC and SSDT Shared tickets • Read only access • Must be Shared by ITC • Must be also Shared by SSDT • New SSDT.EMIS.AGGS request area • ODE has full access • Please use for all Issues with EMIS Aggs
