  1. Insidious Lewis x2 and Bennyboii360 Faze clans finest recruits

  2. Insidious Setting and props The setting for this movie is in a villa\manor. The manor is actually haunted from a spirit, it is an old fashioned house, just like Insidious. As for props we will need a box which will be used for the demon, and a chair which will be used to hold the box. Like insidious we will be using everyday objects, as they help give the element of surprise.

  3. Costume, hair and make up We need make up for the demon in our film as they obviously use make up in insidious for the demon, we also need messy hair for the demon, so a wig would probably be best, the husband, wife and kids would wear normal clothes and the demon would wear some outdated old clothes.

  4. Insidious Facial expressions and body language The demons facial expression needs to be emotionless and show no happiness, fear or anger just like insidious. The people in the house need to be scared but curious at the same time, the body language of the demon needs to be intimidating and the actor needs to stand tall and look terrifying, the mum and the dad need to look shook up and scared, the demon also needs to move in a strange way, much different to a human being.

  5. Lighting and colour As for lighting we will use relatively low key lighting, and focus the light on the demon or protagonist. This is because it will focus the audiences attention. This is used in insidious as shown in the picture. this is effective because it shows the face but not enough lighting to show the eyes or any actual detail.

  6. Insidious Positioning of characters/ objects within the frame The demon needs to be in the background a lot because they’re rarely viewed from the side, they’re usually viewed from the front, back or from their point of view, in insidious the demons usually jump out and scare the people or be seen in the background by the viewer but not from the actor in the film, this creates suspense and tension which is an important part in a horror film, we are going to try and capture this in our film because it will make it a lot better.
