  3. Fats • Stored in your body to use later • Provide more energy than carbs • Types • Saturated (Bad fat) • Unsaturated (Good fat) • Omega-3 (Very good fat) • Can be stored anywhere on your body • Obesity can increase the chance of diseases • Sources • Nuts, Meat, Fried food, Dairy, ect…

Protein • Builds and repairs body tissues • Accounts for 10% to 20% of daily calories • 2 Types • Complete (Contains all essential acids) • Incomplete (Less essential acids) • Building block of all cells • Organs, muscles, hair, blood, and bones • Sources • Meats, eggs, dairy, seeds, nuts, ect…
