Due rapinatori sbagliano un colpo in banca. Uno fugge, l'altro è preso. Dopo cinque anni di carcere il secondo cerca vendetta. Uno dei rarissimi western dove si vede il mare, anzi il Pacifico. Probabilmente fu influenzato da Furia selvaggia (1958) di A. Penn; probabilmente influenzò i western di Peckinpah. Ultimo film girato in Vistavisione.
