  2. Cricket for many in India is more like a Religion. Long back, cricket has only male fans and they will watch it for hours and hours. • But nowadays even women and children also have become more interested in watching cricket. • As we all know Twenty20 World cup is the most entertaining event with lots of merits and demerits too.

Positive things about T20 are • It is a Fast cricket which will take only few hours. • It is more like a treat for cricket fans who travel around India to watch their favorite players play. • Thousands of people are being employed for the posts of event managing, organizing, conducting the games, pitch curators, advertising people, sports writers, columnists, commentators, umpires, referees, statisticians, scorers, peddlers, small business people and advertisement makers. • Retired Cricketers also get an opportunity to earn millions from the sport and also fans are crazy to watch them playing again. • Main thing is apart from country boundaries, race and other difference, players from around the world merge into teams and get to play with full of spirit.

Negative things about T20 are • Because of its huge reach, other games are bound to receive lesser support. • Corrupt practices are involved in this format of game. • Players put in a lot of energy into T20 and are hence unable to perform well at longer formats of cricket. So, critics arises whether i boosts player performance or not.

  5. Every coin has two sides. From my point of view it has more advantages than disadvantages. • Everyone wants to go through the shortcuts. So this shorter format of cricket gives much more entertainment in a very short time. • People are showing their love and craze for the T20 matches. We have to wait till March for the Twenty20 World Cup.
