Industrial Technology(timber products) • Suitable for students who wish to enter a technology trade • Also suitable for students who intend going to university and who enjoy making things. • Category A for ATAR • Preliminary year • Industry study • Design, management and communication • Production • Manufacturing technology • HSC year • Continuation of preliminary year studies • Design and production of a major project (HSC markers) • Folio related to above design project (HSC markers) • Project 60% + Folio 40% • Fee $45 plus students must buy own major project materials

Design and technology • For students intending to study design subjects at university • Suitable for students who wish to design and make products, system or environments • Preliminary year • Design theory and practice • Research skills and graphical communication • Design, produce and evaluate design projects • Project management • HSC year • Project proposal and project management • Project development + manufacture + evaluation • Design and production of a major project (HSC markers) • Folio related to above design project • Project 60% + Folio 40% • Fee $45 plus students must buy own major project materials in Y12
