  2. Green dream is an eco-travel agency specialised in environmentally sustainable tourism. Our goal is to provide unique and nature connected travel experiences with low ecological footprint. We are a medium sized Ltd. company pioneering eco tourism in Slovenia. The company is based in Koper.

  3. The services we offer range from accommodation in environmentally sustainable and modern tourist facilities powered by renewable energy sources to active holidays on eco-farms where the customers can feel the connection with nature. We also organise hiking trips and camping events in nature.

  4. Our commitment to the preservation of the environment is one of the core values of our business. All of our tourist brochures are made from recycled paper and we have strong partnerships with transport companies which use electric-powered vehicles. In accordance to our green business vision we proudly devote 10 % of our profits to nongovernmental organisations that are committed to preservation of the environment.

  6. Responsible eco-tourism includes programs that minimize the adverse effects of traditional tourism on the natural environment, and enhance the cultural integrity of local people. In addition to evaluating environmental and cultural factors, eco-tourism promotes recycling, energy efficiency, water re-use, and the creation of economic opportunities for local communities.

  7. Eco-tourism focuses onlocal cultures, wilderness adventures, volunteering, personal growth and learning new ways to live on our vulnerable planet. It is typically defined as travel to destinations where the flora, fauna, and cultural heritage are the primary attractions.

  8. As nature, heritage, and recreational destinations become more important, and as conventional tourism is forced to meet tougher environmental requirements, all travelers are encouraged to green up their traveling habits.
