  1. What is Chronology? L/O – To examine what chronology is and define the vocabulary used to describe it Starter – Put these dates in chronological order: 1848A.D – 1066A.D – 1968A.D – 112B.C – 1485A.D

Chronology • Chronology = is the study of exactly when things happen. • Being able to order events and dates into the right chronological order is a key skill for historians. • But why is chronology so important? Look at the above story. By re-ordering the events, you can make it look like a murder, a suicide or just somebody discovering a body.
