Purpose of Action Coalitions, CCNA • ACs are built to effect long-term sustainable change in moving the [IOM] recommendations into action • Comprised of diverse groups of stakeholders from a variety of sectors, the AC mission is to: • develop an issue strategy plan as basis for AC implementation efforts • ACs will further the overall initiative by • capturing best practices • determining research needs • tracking lessons learned • identifying replicable models
