  5. 3 cycles of university studies in Albania ( 3 + 2 + 3 study years) ___________________________ Cycle I 180 ECTS points (at least – 3 years) Cycle II120 ECTS points (at least – 2 years) Cycle III 60 ECTS points (at least – 3 years)

  6. ECTS points in Albania 1 ECTS point = 25 hours at national level (60 minutes) __________ 1 academic year - total 60 ECTS points - or 60 x 25 = 1500 hours 1500 hours divided in (auditor + homework or KD) Knowledge Transfer + Knowledge Digestion = 1500 hours (650 - 750 hours) + (750 – 850 hours) 700 hours 800 hours 700 hours / 30 teaching weeks = 23 hours / a week

  10. Albanian HEI’s personal WL • HEI – Higher Education Institution permanent staff should have one of these profiles: • I. Teaching + R&D (60% and 40%) • II. Only teaching (100%) • III. Teaching + R&D + Admin (50%, 30% and 20%) • IV. Admin (100%) • V. R&D (100%)
