-In 1828 Chocolate was invented by Dutchman Van Houten -They’re were many spices added to chocolate, such as water, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla Chocolate was the first popularized by Ascetics priest in Spain and neighboring countries -Chocolate was considered a Catholic drink -In Spain it’s a spiritual drink of absence.
