  3. History • Geothermal energy has been around for millions of years a long time • Indians thought hot springs were sacred • In 1904 the first Geothermalpower plant was made, but the first Geothermal electric plant came out nine years later in 1913

  4. Fun Facts • Animals hibernate under ground in the winter and live in under ground dens or holes in the summer because under ground it is a constant temperature hotter then the surface of the Earth in the winter or colder than the surface of the Earth in the winter
