GuidelinesE-hand-in:Writtensit-in exam • Dear Students • CBS strives to fulfillthe digitalisation strategy of the ministry, which aims to give students the possibility of submitting exam papers electronically. • You will not hand in your exam paper in hard copy, but you will submit your exam paper electronically at CBSLearn. The other formal regulations stated in both the course description and study program regulations are not changed.
LOGON • After checking in 15 minutes before the exam begins on the exam date (at the exam location, AmagerStrandvej 108B), you will be ready to take the written sit-in exam. When the exam begins you have to log in to learn.cbs.dk. On the center of the page, you will find your exam and here you click on the link. You will now be redirected to the page, where you can access your exam assignment. You cannot print the exam assignment, and you are therefore advised to keep the page with the exam assignment open.
DECLARATION OF AUTHORSHIPAll the formal requirements for the exam are unchanged including e.g. number of pages, font size, line spacing and so on. In order to submit the exam paper, you have to check the course description beforehand, so you are aware of the maximum pages your exam paper must fulfill. See E-campus for further information. At submission of the exam paper, you have to write the maximum number of pages, and declare that you are the author and not have cheated by e.g. plagiarism. This way, the declaration of authorship has been incorporated as a part of the submission process. This means that you do not have to fill in the declaration of authorship for this exam.
PDF FORMAT • When you are finished with the exam or when the exam ends, you will have 10 minutes to submit your exam paper. You MUST submit your exam paper in PDF format. You will not be able to submit in any other formats. If you use Word and Excel during the exam, you will have to save you exam paper in PDF format. You can save in PDF format either by choosing ‘print of the exam paper’ and under this ‘select printer’: ‘Adobe PDF’ or under ’save as’ choosing the file type ‘PDF’. IMPORTANT: If you are not used to save files in PDF format, you should test it at home ahead of the exam. However, the IT support will be present at the exam to assist you, if you have problems saving in PDF format
SUBMISSION • You submit the exam paper at the submission pages, which you can find at Learn.cbs.dk. It is only you, the exam secretary and the examiner who have access to your exam paper. • The written sit-in exam is anonyms, which means that you examiner will not know who you are. You can also after the exam ends access the submission page, so you have the possibility to secure that you have submitted your exam paper correctly. You will also get at receipt for your submission, and there will also be sent a receipt to your CBS mail together with your exam paper after submission.
SEVERAL SUBMISSIONS/UPLOADS • You can re-submit exam paper. This can be done as follows: A) deleting the previous submitted version of your exam paper at CBSLearn and then B) submitting your new exam paper at CBSLearn. IMPORTANT: It is only possible to have one exam paper uploaded. You have the possibility to re-submit as many times as you want to before the exam ends. • END OF EXAM • The exam invigilation will inform you, when the exam ends. Hereafter, you have 10 minutes to convert your exam paper to a PDF file. CBS will by logging and monitoring ensure that students do not continue to work on the exam paper after the exam ends. Violation of this can result in disciplinary actions, which may result in exam quarantine and in worst case expulsion from CBS.
