About Valto • How did it all begin? • Picture the scene, you’re hosting a house party, with all your friends, all of them are taking pictures, but there is no simple way to share them with each other, that is precisely how Valto got started… • What is Valto? • Valto is a real-time visual media platform made up of location-based events. Valto enables all guests to see the events through other guests eyes.

Project Challenges • User Interface:intuitive, simple and responsive. • Performance:low memory footprint and a fast application while dealing with many photos. • API:compact and maintainable RESTfull API. • Storing Photos in the Cloud:could not use Google Apps Engine or Facebook. • Engaging with our users

Milestone #3 – Features Summary • Manage your photos and the events you created. • Create a private events (with a password). • Facebook friends check-ins to the event. • Share the event on Facebook • Filter photos taken by you and your friends • Upload photos in the background • Export photos to Facebook • Email notifications to web album and slideshow links • Extensive UI and performance improvements
