  3. Membership Goal for 2009-10 • Rotary International Goal: • Plus One • Cortland Rotary Club Goal: • Plus Five • The number of members July 1 plus five by June 30. • This will match our current year to date. • Membership Chair: Jim Nunciato

Membership Goal for 2009-10 • June 4, 2009 is our 90th Anniversary of the Cortland Rotary Club’s Formation • A Club committee is providing four opportunities for us to bring in prospective members • June 7, 2009 Center for the Arts • July 12, 2009 Picnic for Polio Plus • September 12,2009 Special Projects at Camp Barton • October 17,2009 Gala Event at Gatherings

  5. Membership Goal for 2009-10 These events are all tentative at this time. You will have the great events to invite prospective members to. Show them what Rotary is really about.

  8. Service Projects 2009-10 • Difficult economic times. • Fundraisers were we give of time instead of money. • Schedule four Chicken Barbeques for next year. • Sell Dine-a-mate books as a fundraiser. • Current mandatory fundraisers • Pancake Day & Poinsettia Sale

  11. Every Rotarian Every Year • Annually we have many club members donate $100 on their birthday. • Do we want to do a fundraiser for those who can't donate but want to support the good work of Rotary International?

  12. Polio Plus Campaign • In the first Polio Campaign Cortland Rotary Club really supported the drive. • Can we get behind a club goal of $4000 for Polio Plus next year?

  13. Rotary Foundation • Chairperson for 2009-10 • Sheila Abbey • Paul Harris Dinner for our Club will be at the Gathering Gala October 17th. Please wear your Paul Harris Medallion

Club Leadership 2009-10 • Develop Club Leaders beyond the local club level • We need to continue to support our local club leadership by attending District events and trainings. • As a club we need to step up to support Bob Ross as the District Governor in 2011-12. We will be responsible to help in running many activities during that year.
