CDBG Disaster Recovery Grant Project Criteria • Must meet one of three national objectives: • Benefit low- and moderate-income persons • Prevent or eliminate slum or blight • Address urgent community development needs • 14% minimum for affordable rental housing
CDBG Disaster Recovery Grant Public Participation • Public meeting December 3, 2009 • Invited municipalities, housing authorities, county staff • Participants submitted potential projects • Those not in attendance invited to submit projects • Participants decided to allot 25% to affordable rental housing • Application due January 15, 2010
