PROPOSED JOINT FISC & FIHMC

Recommendations of the Site Selection Committee for a proposed joint FISC & FIHMC conference in 2006. The conference aims to integrate both events into one, with joint sessions, receptions, and exhibits.   2. BACKGROUND • Both FISC &FIHMC scheduled for 2006 • 440 attendees at 7th FISC • 350 attendees at 2 FIHMC • Approximately 250 attended both • Significant number presented at both

PROPOSED JOINT CONFERENCE • Not as large as two separate conferences (estimated attendance 400 - 600+) • Two separate but integrated conferences • One joint opening session • 6 concurrent session (3 each) • Joint receptions, breaks, dinner, demo session, poster session & exhibits • Finances handled through FISC account, profits split equally between SOS and SOH
