  2. Introduction • Valves are the gates that control the flow of water in irrigation systems. Their reliability is critical for proper operation of the system. • Rain Bird valves are designed to withstand the extreme environments for each application: temperature, pressure, and water source specifications for each site will establish the valve requirements.
