Clothing and fashion • Most clothes were made of linen and few pieces from wool. • Cotton- introduced in the Coptic years.Linen was spun from the stem of the flax plant. • The younger the plant-the finer the thread • Spinning, weaving, and the sewing of clothes was important • Red,yellow and blue dye was sometimes applied • For the popular white colour, the woven cloth was sun bleached
Design Of Clothing Children started wearing clothes at the age of 6 Men wore skirt type things and sometimes a top Wemon wore a dress with straps. They wore make-up and jewels to honour the gods. Both genders wore eyeshadow and eyeliner. Amulets were wore to protect the owners
Temples:!Home of desisted gods! • Existed from beginning of Egyptian history, • found in most of the towns. • mortuary temples and patron gods. • The temples were not for public worships
After Life! • They believed in after life. • Gods, kings and pharaohs were mummified • Mummification took 40 days Apart of the mummification progress was to put The liver, the lungs, the stomach and the intestines in canopic jars
Civilisation There civilisation was a lot harder than ours. Having to put up with the heat everyday. Having a wear wigs and lots of jewellery everyday. People getting treated like slaves and getting killed if disobeying gods or pharaohs. I think that there civilisation was horrible and I'm glad to have my life the way it is today.
