  4. Average Annual Temperature is 68F for Okefenokee, lower than most swamps which are 89F.

  5. Swamps have very slow-moving waters & are drained for agricultural land.

  6. Swamps introduce color-changing nutrients into water sources.

  7. Very Complex Webs are Easy to Change

  8. There are two carnivorous plant populations in Okefenokee Bladderwort Pitcher Plant

  9. Swamps are threatened by draining for agricultural reasons, causing extreme flooding.

  10. All mangroves use a complex root system to filter salt out and receive enough oxygen

  11. Mangroves provide nursery areas for fish, food for deer, tree-climbing crabs, and nectar for bats & honeybees
