Resource Registration – MP 11 “ERCOT has all registration-related data for all market participants intending to participate in the Nodal Market on record” • Final RARF submittal due December 31, 2007 • Addendum 1 – due to ERCOT by January 31, 2008 • Generator-owned transmission elements • Additional Private Use Network fields • Additional fields for Gen, CC, and Wind units • Addendum 2 – New for Combined Cycle • Combined cycle configuration and transition • More on this later in this presentation Lead from the front Texas Nodal

Resource Registration – Status of Submittals (as of 1-16-08) • 210 RARFs • 167 for Generation Resources and 43 for Load Resources • 635 Units • 505 Generation Resource units • 130 Load Resource units • Includes mothballed units • Does not include Distributed Generation, Block Loads, Retired, or Logical/Virtual units (i.e. Joint Owned) • QSE Scores • Lowest score carries (i.e. one red – the whole entity is red) • Generation Resources (97.6% of ERCOT Total MW) • By MW, 51% Green and 20% Amber • By RARF, 33% Green and 17% Amber • Load Resources (2.4% of ERCOT Total MW) • By MW, 50% Green and 46% Amber • By RARF, 54% Green and 37% Amber Lead from the front Texas Nodal

Resource Registration - CC Changes and Impact • Combined Cycle units have the opportunity to submit registration for all configurations • Usage of configurations downstream is not confirmed • What does this mean? • All Combined Cycle facilities will need to complete an addendum for all desired configurations (including those included on the RARF) • The addendum will be the source of all configuration information in the final RARF • Transition information will be resubmitted as well • ERCOT will host a WebEx to provide an example of configurations and transitions as well as to answer questions • ERCOT will provide opportunities for individual assistance in completing the addendum Lead from the front Texas Nodal

Resource Registration - CC Changes and Impact • Timeline • Week of January 28: Release Addendum 2 to Resource Entities representing CC facilities • Week of January 28: Host WebEx to discuss Addendum • February 4 – 15: Meetings with Resource Entities as needed • To schedule, send a request to NodalMarketTransition@ercot.com Please include preferred time (9am, 10am, or 11am) • February 29: Addendum 2 due to ERCOT Lead from the front Texas Nodal

Resource Mapping – MP 10 “ERCOT shall ensure that all participating Generation Resources in the TN Market have completed their mapping of Resources to Resource Nodes and Resources to EPS Meters at the Generation Facility” • ERCOT tasks • Completing snapshots of NMMS • Preparing mapping worksheets • One for each Unit to Resource Node (on hold) • One for each Unit to EPS meter • Send zip file to Resource Entity Authorized Representative • Resource Entity responsibilities • Verify information and return confirmation form to ERCOT • If problem, work with ERCOT to get it corrected Lead from the front Texas Nodal

Resource Mapping – MP 10 “ERCOT shall ensure that all participating Generation Resources in the TN Market have completed their mapping of Resources to Resource Nodes and Resources to EPS Meters at the Generation Facility” • Two Occurrences • First to verify what we know at this time for market trials • Oneline • Resource to Resource Node Map • Resource to EPS Meter Map • Verification/confirmation form to send to ERCOT • Second as an export from NMMS • Timeline * • Week of Feb 11: Release to Resource Entities • February 11 – 29: Complete corrections as needed • March 7: Confirmation letters due to ERCOT • June/July: Repeat process with exports from NMMS * Dependent on result of Resource Node location Lead from the front Texas Nodal

Resource Registration – Looking Forward * • January 31: Addendum 1 due (Generation Resources only) • January 28 – February 29: Addendum 2 due (CC only) • February 11 – March 7: Resource Mapping • March 15: End of acceptance of EDS 4 RARF and conclude data validation of data received through RARF iterative process • March 15 – April 7: Hold on RARF submittals to create final RARF to send to Resource Entities • April 7 – April 25: Resource Entities review and submit certified RARF to ERCOT • From this point on – all submittals must be certified and on the final RARF form • June/July: Resource Mapping – NMMS verification * Dates may change to meet NMMS or EDS needs Lead from the front Texas Nodal
