  2. Grants of The City of Bratislava • Ars Bratislavensis • Support of non-professional artistic and cultural activities in Bratislava • Support of activities promoting Bratislava • Funded by the city of Bratislava • Established in 2003; first projects running at 2004

  3. Ars Bratislavensis • Grants are directed mainly on projects that are group oriented • Up to 50% of the assumed costs of the project and 150 000 SK • The grant money can be used to cover all sorts of expenses

  4. Ars Bratislavensis • Applicants • Body corporates and individuals • Municipality – Sport, Culture, Education • Deadlines • Four deadlines per year – next 30.1.2008 • In the previous round, 1 million SK was divided between 22 out of 39 applicants

March 2008 • Support-up to 50 000sk • projects of nongovernmental organizations without state support Aimed at : • prevention from drugs, criminality • long and short- term activities for children • support for creative activities of children • prevention from racial and ethnic intolerance • support for interest and involvement of young people into the

  6. Bratislava Community Foundation • non- governmental organization • established in 2000 by companies and individuals • support activities and good ideas of Bratislava residents • can apply nongovernmental organizations, individuals, foundations, schools

  7. Options to give: • cash • securities • real estate • bequests - heritage • 2% from tax assignation of individual and legal entities • Buying of delicacy in one of 6 Bratislava restaurants or cafe

  8. Actual grant programs Konto Orange Foundation and Donor club • You can apply for 15 000 Sk • Deadline- 10. October 2007 Citibank Foundation • Financial support – up to 25 000 Sk • Deadline 19. October 2007 Social Services Development Fund in Bratislava • of up to 20 000 Sk • social issues in Bratislava.

  9. Citibank Support in 2 main areas: • Education and Community life Education: • Support for financial education area • young people and disadvantaged groups. • investment, finanacial management. The aim: • opportunities for schools, • adopt sucessful project from abroad • provide them resources for own educational projects

The Bratislava Community Foundation • Young4BA • Funded by TBCF and SPP foundation • Supports all kinds of projects which are involved in free time activities of young people • Environmrntal activities • Art classes • Sport activities • Last term the funding was granted to 27 out of 66 applied projects
